City and Guilds Beauty Therapy Courses launched
The Gibraltar College, in collaboration with Mayfair on Main and its training arm, The Gibraltar Academy of Hair and Beauty, has expanded its vocational education provision by introducing internationally recognised City & Guilds Level 2 qualifications in Beauty Therapy. This development builds on the success of the College/Academyβs hairdressing programmes, which have been running for the past seven years. These courses have produced a cohort of locally trained professionals who are now actively employed in the industry. The Gibraltar Government together with Mayfair on Main and their training academy The Gibraltar Academy of Hair and Beauty have launched a further vocational qualification, a Level 3 City and Guilds technical qualification in hairdressing, which adds to their current offerings of Level 2 City and Guilds courses currently offered in Gibraltarβs schools, The Gibraltar College and privately through Mayfair on Main. Mayfairs first brand ambassador announced on 7th anniversary
As part of the brands seventh year anniversary the first brand ambassador of Mayfair on Main has been anounced as Faith Torres, the longest reigning Miss Gibraltar who placed Quarter Finalist at the 71st Miss World held in India in March 2024. Faith is no stranger to the brand since Mayfair sponsored her when she won the Miss Gibraltar crown in 2022 and has since been the official hair team to her in her capcity as Miss Gibraltar. Bio medical scientist, classical pianist and model Faith encapsulates the timeless elegance of the Mayfair on Main brand and was therefore a natural fit for our first ambassador role....
